The Bill Littleford Trio was formed in August 2007 by Bill Littleford and Dave Mackey. Both Bill and Dave were in Adrian Martin's Trio before Adrian moved to Portland, Oregon. At first, the Trio was based in Oxford, OH with a regular gig at High St. Grill. Now The Bill Littleford Trio has transitioned to performing in Cincinnati, Hamilton, and the surrounding areas. Different bass players have performed with the Trio, including Nick Geise, Chris Berg, Dave Cope, and John Toedman. Many others have sat in as well, including horn players and singers.
